While every effort will be made to accommodate donors' requests, materials must meet the library's criteria for relevance, objectivity, and accuracy. The library reserves the right to decline to use any item provided for any reason. As a general guideline, contributions consisting of personal correspondence, newsletters produced by the legislator, or campaign-related materials may not be accepted.

To maintain the integrity of the database, the library attempts to cite the source and verify the accuracy of all information provided. With the exception of genealogical data, such as family histories, trees, or group sheets, all material accepted for the database must include complete citation information. For reference purposes, unpublished material must include the name of the person making the donation as well as his/her relationship to the member.

To submit materials for possible inclusion in the database, please complete and return the Permission to Publish form and the Description of Items form.
