Gordon "Obie" Relating to creating a conservation and reclamation district to be known as "Reagan County Water Supply District"; conferring upon the district the powers of the general laws governing water control and improvement districts where not in conflict with this Act; providing that the district shall not be empowered to exercise the power of eminent domain outside the boundaries of the District except for certain purposes.
SB 389 54-0 (1955) Author: Hardeman, Dorsey B. Relating to creating a conservation and reclamation district to be known as "Reagan County Water Supply District"; conferring upon the district the powers of the general laws governing water control and improvement districts where not in conflict with this Act; providing for the governing body of the district; providing for the issuance of bonds and fixing a limitation thereon; providing for refunding bonds; adopting the ad valorem plan of taxation for said District; making bonds of the District eligible for investments, and exempting the property and the bonds of the District from taxation; finding a benefit; providing a severability clause.
