SB 97, 66th R.S.
Providing that a retiring State employee may be paid in a lump sum for a portion of sick leave accrued at retirement; declaring that the lump sum payments are deemed to be compensation but are not subject to provisions of any State Retirement Act; providing that payments pursuant to this Act may be made only after a retiree receives the first annuity payment; and declaring an emergency.
