Captain W.R. Bounds and first wife Victoria B. Truelove Bounds met in Monroe County, Mississippi, and later moved to Texas. "They arrived in Dallas County June 10, 1870 and later moved to Johnson County to settle . . . By 1882 Victoria had also died. W.R. Bounds later married and had other children." Captain W.R. Bounds of Cleburne went to Alvarado to attend the funeral of Col. L.B. Trulove, according to Cleburne Morning News, 7/7/1908. Johnson County Genealogical Society (Texas).
