HB 30 Caption: Relating to creating the Public Utilities Commission of Texas, granting it power to regulate telephone, gas, and electric utilities, prescribing the procedure, establishing an assessment to defray cost of regulation.
HB 120 Caption: Relating to amending Statutes so as to increase the authorized rate of tax which may be levied by school districts for bond purposes to seventy-five cents on the one hundred dollars valuation; and increasing the amount of bonds which may be issued accordingly.
HB 513 Caption: Relating to increasing the maximum weekly rate of compensation under the Workmen's Compensation Law from $25.00 to $30.00.

HB 799 Caption: Relating to the financing of the operations of the Texas Commission on Alcoholism; clarifying authorization for the appropriation to the Commission of State funds in addition to money received from gifts, grants, and donations; amending the Texas Liquor Control Act by adding a section levying a tax on distilled spirits and allocating the revenues therefrom to the support of the Commission; appropriating these revenues.
