HB 42 Caption: Relating to defining and prohibiting unfair competitive practices with a view to preventing the advertising, offering for sale or the selling of merchandise below cost for the purpose of injuring competitors, destroying, or substantially lessening competition; providing remedies for violation thereof; establishing a penalty therefor.
HB 123 Caption: Relating to prohibiting banks doing business in this State from charging or deducting any sum for the payment of, or the collection from itself of, or the remittance for, checks, or drafts drawn upon them by their depositors, except direct charges to their depositors and charges for collection services, defining offenses and prescribing penalties necessary and incident thereto.

HJR 18 Caption: Proposing a constitutional amendment providing that the Legislature shall have the power to provide assistance to and provide for the payment of same to actual bona fide citizens of Texas who are needy aged persons over the age of sixty-five (65) years, needy blind persons over the age of twenty-one (21) years, and needy children under the age of sixteen (16) years; providing a maximum payment of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per month from State funds for Old Age Assistance; providing for the acceptance of financial aid from the Government of the United States for such assistance; providing that the payments of such assistance from State funds shall never exceed the payments from Federal funds.

HB 102 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to practice chiropody without a valid license duly registered in the District Clerk's Office; providing for the keeping of a "Chiropody Register" by every District Clerk; defining those regarded as practicing chiropody; providing for examination by the Board of Chiropody Examiners of applicants for license to practice chiropody in Texas, naming the subjects in which applicants are to be examined, the method of holding examinations and qualifications for eligibility to take such examinations.
HB 125 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to increase the total maximum reserve of Title Insurance Companies for protection of policy holders from $100,000.00 to $500,000.00; requiring such reserve fund to be kept on deposit with the State Treasury or other depository approved by the Board of Insurance Commissioners; providing for the substitution of securities; providing for disposition of such reserve funds; impressing reserve fund with a trust; authorizing application of deposits on current title policy losses.
HB 126 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to increase the maximum amount of cash or other securities deposited by Title Insurance corporations with the State Treasury or other approved depository from $100,000.00 to $500,000.00; providing for substitution of securities; restricting use of deposits for protection of title insurance policy holders; providing for disposition of funds deposited; providing that a holding of unconstitutionality of any part of this Act shall not affect the remainder.

HB 109 Caption: Relating to fixing the compensation of District Attorneys in all Judicial Districts in this state; providing such compensation shall include the Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars per year now allowed by the constitution; providing that District Attorneys shall not be deprived of their expense allowance; providing that in certain counties the District Attorney shall receive a salary of Six Thousand Five Hundred ($6,500.00) Dollars per years which salary shall include the Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars per year provided by the Constitution.
HB 163 Caption: Relating to providing a sanitary and healthful method of wrapping and packaging of straws, tubes, or other similar devices for use of customers in public places; providing a penalty; providing a severance clause.
HB 194 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, prescribing hours of labor, compensation and vacations of city firemen and policemen; prescribing penalties for violations.
