41st Regular Session
HB 47 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute relating to the granting of divorces, by striking out the words, "Except where the husband or wife is insane," following the words, "Grounds for divorce," and adding thereto a new subdivision to be known as number six (6) affecting cases of inanity; and providing for service in such cases.
HB 49 Caption: Relating to providing an extension of the term of certain Oil and Gas Permits from a period of two (2) years to a period of five (5) years from their respective dates.
HB 50 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute so as to provide that persons who desire to marry shall procure a license from the county clerk directed to all persons authorized by law to celebrate the rite of matrimony.
HB 51 Caption: Relating to the benefit of the blind, providing for the payment thereof, and authorizing the procedure necessary and levying a tax.
HB 52 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute authorizing the creation of corporations for any lawful purpose.
HB 139 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute by adding thereto a proviso to the effect that the defense of innocent purchaser shall be available against such limitation claims.
HB 140 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute by providing that all claims asserted by anyone not holding under a written memorandum of title, duly registered, under the ten years' statute of imitation, under what is commonly called the 160-acre statute, or its predecessor, the 640-acre statute, shall assert such claim by filing suit therefor against the owner of the record title in a court of competent jurisdiction before June 1, 1934, or such claim or title shall not thereafter be asserted in the State as against the record owner of said land.
HB 412 Caption: Relating to amending certain articles of the General Laws of the 40th Legislature, and to add Article 6222 (A).
41st 1st Called Session
HB 171 Caption: Relating to amending and repealing certain articles; providing that pending an appeal from a conviction of a felony a defendant shall not be entitled to remain on bail or to give bail upon entering a recognizance in the court of conviction; providing for the fixing of the amount of recognizance or bail bonds in misdemeanor cases.

HB 131 Caption: Relating to amending the law permitting the defendant to testify in his own behalf.
HB 456 Caption: Relating to providing for the introduction in evidence of the originals or certified copies of recorded instruments.
HB 457 Caption: Relating to a regular chain of title.
HB 458 Caption: Relating to providing that where a plea of not guilty is followed by a special plea, this shall in no case confine the proof of the matters specially pleaded.
HB 459 Caption: Relating to a certain Act adding an Article to the Revised Civil Statutes; regarding deeds of married women.
HB 522 Caption: Relating to creating and incorporating Webster Independent School District in Harris County, Texas, out of the territory composing Common School Districts Nos. 19 and 13, of said County.
40th 1st Called Session
HB 50 Caption: Relating to providing that where a plea of not guilty is followed by a special plea, this shall in no case confine proof to the matters specifically pleaded.
HB 51 Caption: Relating to providing that where a married woman's acknowledgement to her deed or other instrument affecting lands appears to be defectively taken or certified, and where such instrument has been of record for ten years, and title has been claimed and asserted under such instrument for such period of ten years, and where the validity of such instrument has not been brought in question by the interested parties by any action in court during said period, that the acknowledgment shall be conclusively presumed to have been taken in accordance with law.
39th Regular Session
HB 79 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to notes secured by certain deeds of trust or mortgages on land, and when the same shall be barred by limitation, and providing that powers of sale under deeds of trust or mortgages shall not be executed after the notes secured thereby are barred by limitation, relating to the renewal and extension of liens that are secured by deeds of trust, mortgages, or vendor's liens on real estate.
HB 89 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the management, control and disposition of community property by the wife of a deceased or insane husband providing for the renewal, and extension of the maturity date of community debts and liens securing same.
HB 90 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to instruments intended to operate as liens on personal property, and providing for the filing and registration thereof, and the effect of such instruments when not filed for registration by adding thereto a provision in reference to the filing and registration of transfers of chattel mortgages, deeds of trust and other evidences of lien upon personal property.
HB 92 Caption: Relating to providing a method of validating titles to lands conveyed by guardians under the provisions of certain statutes, where county court failed to require the bond provided for in said statutes.
HB 143 Caption: Relating to the protection of those dealing with trustees.
