41st Regular Session
HB 47 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute relating to the granting of divorces, by striking out the words, "Except where the husband or wife is insane," following the words, "Grounds for divorce," and adding thereto a new subdivision to be known as number six (6) affecting cases of inanity; and providing for service in such cases.
HB 49 Caption: Relating to providing an extension of the term of certain Oil and Gas Permits from a period of two (2) years to a period of five (5) years from their respective dates.
HB 50 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Statute so as to provide that persons who desire to marry shall procure a license from the county clerk directed to all persons authorized by law to celebrate the rite of matrimony.
HB 51 Caption: Relating to the benefit of the blind, providing for the payment thereof, and authorizing the procedure necessary and levying a tax.

HB 50 Caption: Relating to providing that where a plea of not guilty is followed by a special plea, this shall in no case confine proof to the matters specifically pleaded.
HB 51 Caption: Relating to providing that where a married woman's acknowledgement to her deed or other instrument affecting lands appears to be defectively taken or certified, and where such instrument has been of record for ten years, and title has been claimed and asserted under such instrument for such period of ten years, and where the validity of such instrument has not been brought in question by the interested parties by any action in court during said period, that the acknowledgment shall be conclusively presumed to have been taken in accordance with law.
HR 13 Caption: Inviting J.C. Foster, commander-in-chief of the United Confederate Veterans, to address the House.

HB 79 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to notes secured by certain deeds of trust or mortgages on land, and when the same shall be barred by limitation, and providing that powers of sale under deeds of trust or mortgages shall not be executed after the notes secured thereby are barred by limitation, relating to the renewal and extension of liens that are secured by deeds of trust, mortgages, or vendor's liens on real estate.
HB 89 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the management, control and disposition of community property by the wife of a deceased or insane husband providing for the renewal, and extension of the maturity date of community debts and liens securing same.
HB 90 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to instruments intended to operate as liens on personal property, and providing for the filing and registration thereof, and the effect of such instruments when not filed for registration by adding thereto a provision in reference to the filing and registration of transfers of chattel mortgages, deeds of trust and other evidences of lien upon personal property.
