HCR 16 Caption: Granting Constantino and Sebena Costella permission to sue the State of Texas.
HJR 21 Caption: Relating to proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas by providing that the Legislature, or any municipality or political subdivision of this State, shall never tax incomes of natural persons or corporations nor levy any payroll tax upon the salary or earnings of employees.

HB 97 Caption: Relating to providing for a method of giving notice of elections to he held in independent school districts, created by local or special law; providing that notice of such elections may be given in accordance with the general law or hereafter prevailing or in accordance with the provisions of any special or local law governing such districts at the option of the trustees thereof; providing that either method may be followed.

HB 20 Caption: Relating to requiring Communists and knowing members of Communist Front Organizations to register with the Department of Public Safety; providing that neither the names of nominees of the Communist Party nor the names of Communists shall appear upon the ballots in primary or general elections; providing that probable communists and knowing members of Communist Front Organizations shall not hold non-elective positions or jobs; outlawing sabotage; defining terms; providing criminal penalties; providing for enforcement of the Act.
HB 30 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes so as to provide for the holding of the first and second primary elections on the fourth Saturday in April and the fourth Saturday in May, 1952, respectively, and every two years thereafter, and so that the other dates contained therein will conform to the new dates for the primary elections.
HB 38 Caption: Relating to amending certain statutes relating to Contingency Reserves of Mutual, Level Premium, Legal Reserve Life Insurance Companies, giving to the Board of Insurance Commissioners authority to issue appropriate orders under this Act; providing for the investment of all other contingency reserves and the payment of dividends to policy holders.

HB 156 Caption: Relating to establish standards for education in American and Texas history and in American citizenship in the public school system of the State of Texas; placing certain duties on the State Board of Education, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and on institutions of higher learning.
HB 222 Caption: Relating to amending a previous Act, requiring that where a candidate for a State office, or a candidate for Chief Justice or Associate Justice of a Court of Civil Appeals, already holds (either by election or appointment) the office for which he is a candidate, his name and county of residence shall be immediately followed on the ballot by the words "For Reelection".
HB 223 Caption: Relating to amending an Article by adding thereto a provision that where a person is a candidate to succeed himself in an office he holds (either by election or appointment) the request to have his name placed on the official ballot for a general primary shall state that he is then holding the office and is a candidate to succeed himself, and also adding a provision that if the candidate seeks an office then held by him (either by election or appointment), the certificate from the chairman of the State committee to the county chairmen shall include the words "For Reelection" immediately following his name and county of residence.

HB 853 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Three Hundred and Twelve Dollars ($312), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to pay a certain judgment rendered on April 23, 1945, in the 98th District Court of Travis County, Texas, in Cause Number 53,017 wherein Rudy Krisch, Junior, R.E. Lanham, and S.P. Walker were plaintiffs to whom prior permission had been granted to bring such suit by the Legislature of the State of Texas, and the State of Texas and the State Highway Commission of the State of Texas and the members of said Commission in their official capacities were defendants, for the principal sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300), said judgment providing that the unpaid Court costs should be paid by plaintiffs.

HB 555 Caption: Relating to amending the "Lower Colorado River Authority Act" by adding a new section to provide that the term of office of any member of the Board of Directors of the Lower Colorado River Authority failing to attend four consecutive meetings, including one regular meeting, or changing his occupational address to any point outside the State of Texas, shall thereby automatically terminate and create a vacancy in said Board of Directors, and to which vacancy the director so forfeiting his office shall not be eligible for reappointment within a period of three (3) years from date of forfeiture.
