SB 127 Caption: Relating to making certain statute relating to public weighers applicable to warehousemen at Texas ports.
SB 128 Caption: Relating to permitting the ministration of the sick or suffering by prayer, with or without compensation, without the use of drugs or material remedy and provided the sanitary and quarantine laws and regulations are complied with.

SB 150 Caption: Relating to making appropriation to pay judgments of the district and county courts refunding to the heirs, devisees, legatees or legal representatives of deceased persons, whose estates have escheated to the State, such sums of money belonging to such escheated estates as have been paid into the public treasury.
SB 163 Caption: Relating to protecting trademark owners, distributors and the public against injurious and uneconomic practices in the distribution of articles under a trademark, brand or name, making certain unfair and discriminatory practices unlawful, defining the duties of the Attorney General in regard thereto.

SB 254 Caption: Relating to declaring it unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, or association of persons to discriminate against an employee because of age; providing a penalty for the violation of the provisions of this Act.
SB 255 Caption: Relating to defining the word "employee," as used in the Workmen's Compensation Law, by enlarging the scope of its meaning.
SB 296 Caption: Relating to providing that the tax levied in certain statute shall not apply to coin-operated machines of whatever kind or character that has been judicially declared illegal.
SB 319 Caption: Relating to amending the nepotism law.
SB 320 Caption: Relating to requiring banks to furnish, upon demand of the Assessor and Collector of Taxes of the county in which such banking business is being operated, on the first day of January of each year, a list and/or account of all monies, bonds and stocks of every kind except United States bonds, bills, notes and all other personal property except such as is specially exempted from taxation by the laws of the United States, which is or may be held, possessed, owned or controlled by such banks in trust for the benefit of any person, firm corporation or partnership, together with a list of the names of the owners or cestui que trustents of such property, and their residences.
SB 349 Caption: Relating to providing and authorizing that any bonds, interest thereon, or similar obligations, issued by any municipality or political division of the State may be made payable at the office of the State Treasurer, designating and constituting the State Treasurer, Ex-officio Treasurer and fiscal agent of such municipalities and political divisions for such purposes, providing for the deposit and payment of funds by municipalities and political divisions with the State Treasurer for such purposes.
SB 350 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful after January first, nineteen hundred and thirty-eight, to operate on any public highway or street in this State, any motor vehicle registered in this State, and manufactured or assembled after said date, unless such vehicle be equipped with safety glass, wherever glass is used in partitions, doors, windows and windshields of such vehicle; and providing that violation of this Act shall constitute a misdemeanor, and prescribing a penalty therefor.
SB 354 Caption: Relating to requiring that the Texas Ranger Force and its personnel, property, equipment and records be under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Safety, that Texas Rangers shall consist of one headquarters company and not to exceed two companies of mounted men except in cases of emergency, designating commander and aids of said division, designating powers of rangers and making provisions for special rangers, outlining duties of special rangers, and provisions for disposing of confiscated property.
SB 355 Caption: Relating to creating and establishing what shall be known as an "escheat fund" in the office of the Treasurer of the State of Texas; providing penalties for any violation of this law.
SB 394 Caption: Relating to Rural Credit Unions and to loans made by such corporations, and also rates of interest to be charged by such unions.
SB 423 Caption: Relating to the compensation of the county judge, sheriff, district attorney or criminal district attorney, as the case may be, the assessor and collector of taxes, county clerk, district clerk and the county commissioner in all counties having a population in excess of three hundred thousand (300,000) inhabitants, according to the last preceding, or any future Federal Census.
SB 434 Caption: Relating to providing additional compensation for members of the County Juvenile Board in certain counties.
SB 445 Caption: Relating to authorizing married women to make conveyances where husband becomes of unsound mind or deserts her and refuses to join in advantageous transactions.
SB 464 Caption: Relating to providing that in all counties having a population of more than 320,000 inhabitants and less than 350,000 inhabitants, according to the last preceding and any future Federal census, the County Juvenile Board of such counties shall act as a Board of Managers for all county institutions, maintained wholly by county funds, having the care, custody, control, maintenance and education of any juvenile in such county committed by any District Court and/or the County Court, sitting as a Juvenile Court, either as a dependent child or delinquent child.
SB 466 Caption: Relating to authorizing the exclusion of certain territory from any Fresh Water Supply District before the issuance of bonds and levy of taxes for said District, such territory shall be the extent of at least ten (10) acres, and contiguous and adjoining the lines of such District.
SB 481 Caption: Relating to authorizing County Auditors in certain counties to make a complete audit of any and all accounts pertaining to the COunty Superintendent's office at least once a year, providing for method of keeping accounts, and that no disbursement of school funds shall be made without the approval of the Auditor.
SB 491 Caption: Relating to limiting the amount of money to be assessed against candidates for Congress in districts composed of one county, when the population is more than three hundred twenty thousand (320,000) inhabitants, and less than three hundred fifty thousand (350,000), and when the population is more than two hundred ninety-two thousand (292,000) inhabitants, and less than three hundred thousand (300,000), according to the last preceding and any future Federal Census.
SB 509 Caption: Relating to prescribing the method for the annexation of unoccupied territory contiguous and adjacent to the city limits of certain incorporated cities or towns, on petition of the owners of all such territory.
SB 514 Caption: Relating to providing for the use of Funds arising under the Firemen's Relief and Retirement Fund Law, in cities having a population of more than 240,000 and less than 275,000, according to the last preceding census, and having fully paid Fire and Police Department, and having in force a joint firemen, policemen and fire established under the State Law.
SCR 5 Caption: Inviting W. E. Gilmore to address a Joint Session of the Legislature.
SJR 11 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Article VI, Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Texas, abolishing the poll tax as a prerequisite to a franchise and installing in lieu thereof a registration system.
45th 1st Called Session
SB 7 Caption: Relating to providing that the Supreme Court, or any court of Civil Appeals, shall have the power, or authority, or jurisdiction to issue the writ of mandamus against a peace officer, or magistrate (except magistrates of appellate courts), as defined by the Laws of this State, or against any court or district attorney, to compel the performance of any act, or duty, which such peace officer, magistrate or district or county attorney is required by law to perform.
SB 13 Caption: Relating to providing that in certain counties all persons convicted by a municipal court of such counties, either laying out their fines in a city jail or working out such fines shall receive a credit therefor of One ($1.00) Dollar per day.
SB 14 Caption: Relating to providing that where cities with a population of not less than 245,000 nor more than 275,000, according to the last preceding Federal census, have issued and sold bonds and there remains on hand in the treasury of such city an unexpended balance of bond funds after the completion of the work and improvements for which such bonds were voted, that such bond funds may be used for the purpose of acquiring a site or sites for the constructing and establishing a sewerage disposal plant or system of sanitary sewers.
SB 29 Caption: Relating to creating the office of Veterans State Service Officer attached to the Adjutant General's Department.

SB 20 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to the investment of surplus funds of ward or wards in the hands of guardians or the lending of same, designating certain investments that may be made, so as to provide for the purchase by a guardian of bonds of any County, or of any District or Subdivision in Texas, or of any incorporated city or town in Texas.
SB 32 Caption: Relating to fixing the time for filing the transcript and statement of facts in the Court of Civil Appeals and providing for an extension of such time for cause shown.
44th Regular Session
SB 1 Caption: Relating to making appropriation for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the Texas Centennial (including the Texas Centennial Central Exposition and other celebrations), for the period beginning February 1, 1935, and ending December 31, 1936.
SB 67 Caption: Relating to authorizing incorporated cities, towns, and villages incorporated under either general or special laws, including those operating under a special charter or amendments of charter adopted pursuant to home rule provisions of the Constitution, to cause to be improved streets, avenues, alleys, highways, boulevards, drives, public places, squares and any portion or portions thereof, and to assess the cost thereof against abutting property owners thereof.
SB 69 Caption: Relating to declaring monopolies contrary to public policy of this State; providing for prima facie evidence of violation; providing for quo warranto proceeding and forfeiture of charter.
SB 101 Caption: Relating to the printing, engraving, binding and furnishing of textbooks.
SB 107 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful after January first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six to operate on any public highway or street, a motor vehicle manufactured or assembled after said date, designed or used to carry passengers for hire, or as a public conveyance to transport school children or others unless such vehicle be equipped with safety glass; and providing that the violation of this Act shall constitute a misdemeanor and prescribing the punishment therefor.
SB 108 Caption: Relating to providing for the Escheat to the State of Texas of all money, funds and credits which have heretofore accrued and accumulated and which are held by any person, firm or corporation engaged in mining, drilling, exploring, developing and exploiting any mineral deposit, and any oil and gas deposit located in the State of Texas.
SB 174 Caption: Relating to delegating to the municipalities of the State of Texas power and authority to fix the prices, rates, rules, regulations and practices of public utilities as herein defined; providing that all fines, pains and penalties fixed by the respective municipalities shall be in addition to the fines, pains and penalties not otherwise fixed by law.
SB 175 Caption: Relating to amending primary elections laws relating to political advertisements.
SB 176 Caption: Relating to expediting the determination of old litigation pending in the Appellate Courts of this State, and to hereafter prevent any discrimination in the decision of causes of actions in Appellate Courts.
SB 177 Caption: Relating to employment insurance associations and definitions of Workman's Compensation Law.
SB 178 Caption: Relating to providing for the election of the County Superintendent of Dallas County.
SB 216 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to pay judgments of the district and county courts refunding to the heirs, devisees, legatees or legal representatives of deceased persons, whose estates have escheated to the State, such sums of money belonging to such escheated estates as have been paid into the Public Treasury.
SB 242 Caption: Relating to the administration of affairs of private corporations in receivership, providing that corporations organized and existing shall be exempt from certain of its provisions.
SB 243 Caption: Relating to regulating pleas challenging the venue of causes, the contest of said pleas, and procedure relating thereto, also the trial of such contest, and appeals from judgments sustaining or overruling such pleas, prescribing the effect of such appeal on the main cause, and providing that such plea shall not prevent the court in which the cause is pending, for sufficient cause, to enter all necessary orders for the preservation of the subject-matter of the litigation, or its status quo.
SB 304 Caption: Relating to providing that where any justice precinct is situated in whole or in part in any city of 50,000 inhabitants or more the Justice of the Peace therein to be eligible shall hold license to practice law.
SB 305 Caption: Relating to creating an attorney's lien on the subject matter of litigation where the fee is on a contingent basis, or deferred payment basis.
SB 308 Caption: Relating to providing for supplemental pleadings by parties concerning exceptions, denials and allegations in reply to pleadings, and concerning allegations of new facts and the consideration of such supplemental pleadings of the parties.
SB 312 Caption: Relating to amending certain statute relating to practice of medicine by striking out the words "and that no charge is made therefor, directly or indirectly" after the words "complied with" in the first sentence thereof.
SB 313 Caption: Relating to providing for the manner and method of dismissal of officers by cities and towns, providing for public hearings, appeals to District Courts.
SB 314 Caption: Relating to prohibiting a governing body of any incorporated city or town from advertising or soliciting bids on any so-called patented paving.
SB 315 Caption: Relating to defining teachers, school boards and board of trustees.
SB 352 Caption: Relating to declaring the ownership of competing or parallel motor truck and motor bus lines by railroad companies to be contrary to the genius of free government and making it unlawful for railroad companies to own, control or operate any competing or parallel motor truck lines or motor bus lines for the carrying of freight or passengers for compensation or hire in this State.
SB 366 Caption: Relating to bond of guardian and order confirming sale of real estate.

SB 380 Caption: Relating to providing for the creation of a Legislative Audit Committee and fixing its duties, and providing for the appointment of a State Auditor by said Legislative Audit Committee; and prescribing penalties.
SB 385 Caption: Relating to creating and establishing what shall be known as an "escheat fund" in the office of the Treasurer of the State of Texas; providing penalties for any violation of this law.
SB 397 Caption: Relating to declaring it to be against the public policy of this State for any regent, member of a board, or trustee, teacher or employee of any university, college or school supported wholly or in part from taxation or other public funds to be employed, directly or indirectly, by or receive any character of remuneration from any public utility or officer or employee thereof, and that the office or employment of any person offending said public policy herein set out shall be terminated on the date violation is established and such person shall be prohibited from holding any office or employment from the State of Texas or any political subdivision thereof for a period of five years from date of such offense.
SB 411 Caption: Relating to placing bus and track lines under the anti-pass law.
SB 412 Caption: Relating to authorizing and requiring the State Board of Education to prescribe and require the observance of a uniform system of accounts, records and reports of all public school officials in this State.
SB 413 Caption: Relating to declaring it the public policy of this State and its various political subdivisions, in the employment of office and other employees, to evenly distribute its employment between male and female, to limit the employment to not more than one to each family pending economic recovery, and to employ only those whom to some extent others are dependent upon.

SB 31 Caption: Relating to providing that all warrants lawfully drawn against the State Treasury or the Treasury of any county or subdivision or common or independent school districts for the payment of monies which are lawfully due and are presented for payment, and not paid shall be registered by the Treasurer and shall thereafter bear interest at the rate of four percent (4%) per annum, payable semi-annually until paid.
