SB 287 Caption: Relating to a local road law for the maintenance of a bridge constituting a portion of a public road in Jefferson County by authorizing the county to construct, improve, operate and maintain a bridge, and properties in connection therewith over the river or lake between said county and Cameron Parish, Louisiana, from a point in Jefferson County to a point where such project will meet a bridge or causeway constructed or to be constructed from the Cameron Parish side of such body of water toward the Jefferson County side.
SB 288 Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation to the Sabine River Compact Administration for the purposes of complying with the obligations of the State of Texas to the State of Louisiana in establishing such administration.
SB 318 Caption: Relating to creating an additional District Court in Jefferson County, Texas, to be known as the District Court for the 136th Judicial District; providing the terms and jurisdiction for said court; providing for the appointment of a judge for said court; prescribing powers, duties, term of office and compensation; providing for the employment of official court reporter of said court; prescribing his qualifications, duties and compensations; providing for the appointment, designation and compensation of other officers of the court; providing all process, writes, recognizances and bonds heretofore issued, made, executed or returnable to existing terms of District Courts in Jefferson County are valid and returnable to the first term of the District Court for the 136th Judicial District after this Act takes effect.
SB 327 Caption: Relating to providing for the sale by the State to the City of Port Arthur, Texas, a municipal corporation, and its assigns, a certain tract or area of land situated in Jefferson County, Texas, same being Riparian lands constituting a part of the former bed of Sabine Lake, retaining to the State all mineral rights therein.
SB 355 Caption: Relating to authorizing cities which have adopted their charters under Article 11, Section 5, of the Constitution of Texas to abandon airport lands and properties for airport purposes, owned by such cities when same are no further needful for airport purposes, and to dispose of, lease for oil, gas and mineral exploration and development, or to sell such properties, or any part thereof, or to use such properties for any other useful purposes, and to use the proceeds therefrom for any needful municipal purposes; provided that this act shall apply only to such cities located in counties having a population of not less than 150,000 and not more than 250,000 according to the last preceding federal census.
SB 361 Caption: Relating to creating Jefferson County Water Control and Improvement District No. 10, a conservation and reclamation district.
SB 400 Caption: Relating to validating Orange County Water Control and Improvement District No. 3; validating the creation order, confirmation election, bond election, and proceedings in connection therewith; validating the bonds authorized at said election, and providing that said bonds when approved by the Attorney General, registered by the Comptroller, and delivered to the purchaser or purchasers shall be incontestable.
SB 438 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to allow the Commissioners Court of Jefferson County, Texas, to set the salary of the Judge of the County Court of Jefferson County at Law at a figure not less than Eight Thousand ($8,000) Dollars and not more than Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars per annum; providing a severability clause; repealing all laws in conflict.

SB 205 Caption: Relating to authorizing and directing the State Highway Department to construct and maintain motor vehicle parking areas and ramps or ways for launching motor boats and hauling the same from the water; providing for the construction of access ways; authorizing the acquisition of land and easements in land.
SB 274 Caption: Relating to relinquishing and granting unto the port district known as the Port of Beaumont Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas, the title to the bed and channel of the Neches River in Port of Beaumont, a part of which has been abandoned by reason of the relocation of the bed or channel of said Neches River.
