HB 514 Caption: Relating to authorizing cities and towns having a population of not less than ten thousand (10,000) inhabitants, within counties of this State having a population of not less than three hundred thousand (300,000) inhabitants, according to the last preceding Federal Census, to annex and attach land and territory not in any town or city and within one (1) mile of the limits of such cities and towns for zoning purposes only; suspending the constitutional rules, and making this Act effective immediately.
HB 814 Caption: Relating to providing for the appointment and fixing the salary of an under-sheriff in all counties having a population of three hundred ninety-five thousand (395,000) inhabitants and not more than four hundred twenty thousand (420,000) according to the last preceding Federal census, or any future federal census, and providing that any limitations fixed in existing laws applicable to the compensation of deputies of the sheriff in such counties shall not apply to the salary of the chief deputy.
