HB 177 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes; providing that officials in lunacy cases shall be allowed the same fees as are now allowed for similar services performed in misdemeanor cases and fixing the compensation of jurors in said cases at $1.00 and the County Attorney's fee at $5.00 to be paid out of the estate of the defendant, if there is an estate, otherwise by the County on accounts approved by the County Judge.
HB 255 Caption: Relating to repealing a certain Chapter of the 1925 Revised Civil Statutes; providing for report of estrays to a county commissioner.
HB 332 Caption: Relating to fixing a valid and subsistent claim against the State of Texas in favor of all counties which have outstanding bonds since September 23, 1932, issued for the purpose of constructing and/or aiding in the construction of State highways.
HB 733 Caption: Relating to amending the law relating to water improvement districts in order to better and further define the general powers of such districts by giving to such districts the powers to adopt and promulgate reasonable police ordinances or regulations, defining the limitations thereof and objects to be accomplished thereby.
HB 747 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Section of the Acts of the 43rd Legislature (R.S.); reducing the minimum bond required from One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) to Five Hundred dollars ($500), and providing that for bonds not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), the Comptroller may accept a deposit of cash or the United States bonds as security in lieu of a surety company.
HB 804 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Board of Directors of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas to establish and maintain a horticultural and agricultural experiment station at some point within the limits of Brown, Callahan, Comanche, or Eastland Counties in the State of Texas for the purpose of making scientific investigations and experiments in the production of fruits, berries, grapes, nuts, vegetables, and farm crops and for the fertilization and conservation of soils in the West Texas cross timber sandy land area and for conducting scientific experiments in poultry raising, dairying, and bee culture.
HB 886 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to construct a building to be used as a permanent home and museum in the Texas Ranger Memorial Park at Santa Anna in Coleman County, Texas, and for the equipment thereof and for the improvement of said park.
HB 923 Caption: Relating to providing for the registration of dogs and for a tax on same; prohibiting unregistered dogs from running at large; prohibiting dogs not muzzled from running at large during the night-time; prescribing a penalty for violation of this Act.
HCR 130 Caption: Suspending Joint Rule Nos. 23, 24, and 32 for final disposition of H.B. No. 745.
HJR 24 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Section 2, of Article III, of the Constitution of the State of Texas, prescribing the number of Senators and Representatives, so as to provide for thirty-one Senators and ninety-three Representatives, apportioned three Representatives to each Senatorial District, and providing that in all Senatorial Districts comprising more than one county the Representative Districts shall be based on population in the ratio of one Representative to each one-third of the population of the Senatorial District as nearly as may be practicable.
HJR 38 Caption: Proposing an amendment to Article IV, Section 11, of the Constitution of Texas, providing that in all criminal cases of felony grade, except treason and impeachment, the Governor shall have power, after conviction, and upon the recommendation and advice only of the Board of Pardons and Paroles, to grant reprieves, commutations of punishment and pardons, and under such rules as the Legislature may prescribe, he shall have the power to remit fines and forfeitures.
