HB 50 Caption: Relating to providing for a closed season in Collin County upon quail until January 1, 1958; providing a penalty.
HB 146 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that vehicles carrying explosives or flammable liquids as principal cargo must stop at Railroad grade crossings.
HB 172 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the governing board of every incorporated city or town in this State from paying to any person, firm, corporation or association any money or compensation for work performed or service rendered in the improvement of any street or other property of such city unless the city has entered into a valid and lawful contract or agreement for such work or service prior to the performance of the work and prior to the rendering of the service; providing that the provisions of this Act shall not be construed as prohibiting the payment of any legal obligation of the city.
HB 356 Caption: Relating to the equipment of rail track motor cars used or furnished by common carriers by railroad for transporting employees; providing for the extension of necessary time in which to equip said cars; and penalizing those carriers who operate or furnish for operation such unequipped cars to their employees for transportation to or from their place or places of labor.
HB 446 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale of fish or minnows taken from Lake Lavon in Collin County; providing a penalty; repealing all laws in conflict.

HB 57 Caption: Relating to amending a previous act so as to provide persons between he ages of twenty-one (21) to sixty-five (65) years who are not blind and who are victims of Spastic or epileptic attacks shall be given the benefit of the provisions of said Act.
HB 152 Caption: Relating to providing certain procedure for securing used car dealers' and used car salesman's licenses and for certain information to be supplied by applicants; providing a penalty for fraudulent action by any licensed person or any other person; providing that in the event any provision of this Act is declared void or unconstitutional that remain provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
HB 394 Caption: Relating to requiring all railroad companies or receivers of any railroad companies to equip cabooses or other cars used as cabooses with electric lights; prescribing a penalty for violation of Act; providing that if any section, sentence, or clause shall be declared invalid by the courts, that other sections or parts of this Act shall not be affected thereby.

HB 251 Caption: Relating to providing for the cost of transferring property of units of the Texas National Guard from the armories where now stored to storage at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas, by making available for the purpose money already appropriated to the Texas National Guard Armory under Item 7 of the appropriation to such Board set out in Chapter 571 on page 1205 of General and Special Laws of the 47th Legislature of Texas.
HB 357 Caption: Relating to providing that in each county there shall be elected at the General election a County Auditor and providing for his qualifications.
HB 370 Caption: Relating to providing that persons who serve in the Armed Forces of the United States of America, or in one of the Reserves of the United States of America, or in one of the Auxiliaries thereto, who upon their return to Texas desire to attend one of the State educational institutions, may do so without paying a tuition fee.
