SB 346 Caption: Relating to amending certain articles so to provide that upon trial for the violation of any provision of this chapter, the purchaser, transporter, possessor or manufacturer of any of the liquors prohibited herein, shall not be held in law or in fact to be accomplice when a witness in any such trial.

HB 177 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide that the filing fees for corporations payable to the Secretary of State shall be based upon the authorized capital stock of domestic corporations and upon the amount of capitol stock of domestic corporations and upon the amount of stock actually subscribed, by foreign corporations, and that such filing fees shall not exceed the sum of twenty five hundred dollars.
HB 178 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide that the franchise tax on foreign corporations, therein levied, shall be based upon that portion of the total authorized capital stock, plus the surplus and undivided profits, if any, of such corporation, as the gross receipts of such corporation from its Texas business bears to its total gross receipts, and providing a minimum for franchise tax to be paid by foreign corporations.
HB 179 Caption: Relating to amending certain articles prescribing the method of computing the amount of franchise taxes to be paid by domestic corporations.
HB 180 Caption: Relating to amending certain acts so as to provide that all corporations that are required by law to pay an annual franchise tax make a report to the Secretary of State annually between the first day of January and the fifteenth day of March, and prescribing what such report shall contain.
HB 195 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Treasurer to appoint an assistant chief clerk who shall be required to give a bond in the sum of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars, payable to the Governor of the State and conditioned as is the bond of the State Treasurer, who shall receive as his compensation for such services rendered, the sum of two thousand ($2,000) dollars per annum, provided the said assistant chief clerk shall perform all the functions of chief clerk in his absence and such other duties to which he may be assigned by the State Treasurer.
HB 546 Caption: Relating to creating and incorporating the Union Independent School District in Terry county, Texas, and defining the boundaries thereof, providing for a board of trustees thereof, and defining their powers, and authority; authorizing said board of trustees to levy, assess, and collect taxes for maintenance and building purposes and to issue bonds therefor.
HB 550 Caption: Relating to creating the Common School District No. 20 in Borden County, Texas, out of territory heretofore included within the boundaries of Common School District No. 1 of said county, and providing that the territory and property within said Common School District No. 20 shall continue to be subject to taxation for the payment of the principal, interest and sinking funds of any and all bond issues heretofore issued by said Common School District No. 1 and still unpaid.
HB 566 Caption: Relating to changing the boundaries of the Slaton Independent School District and Common School District No. 14 in Lubbock county, Texas; transferring to Slaton Independent School District a portion of the territory now embraced in Common School District No. 14; describing Slaton Independent School District in Lubbock and Lynn counties, Texas, by metes and bounds; providing that Slaton Independent School District shall assume the portion of the bonded indebtedness of Common School District No. 14 in Lubbock county, Texas, which it is entitled to assume in taking over the additional lands.
HB 591 Caption: Relating to declaring that any person, firm, corporation or association of persons in this State who may engage in, pursue, carry on, or maintain any of the following described occupations or callings, under the circumstances and condition herein described, are declared to be creators and promoters of a public nuisance, and may be enjoined at the suit of either the Attorney General, the County or District Attorney, in the behalf of the State, being any person, firm, corporation, or association of persons who is the proprietor of any place of public amusement or the agent or employee of such person, firm, corporation or association of persons, who shall permit his place of business, or place of public amusement to be opened for the purpose of traffic or public amusement on Sunday.
HB 616 Caption: Relating to providing that no person suffering from open tuberculosis shall be permitted to attend any public or private school of this State, neither shall any such person be employed in any public or private school of this State in any capacity, provided that the provisions of this Act do not apply to public or private schools for person having tuberculosis.

HB 9 Caption: Relating to preventing and prohibiting in time of war the sale, barter or exchange of spirituous, vinous, and malt liquors, or medicated bitters capable of producing intoxication, within ten miles of any fort, arsenal, training camp, cantonment, aviation field or school where soldiers, sailors, marines or aviators are being quartered, held, or trained, or where ships are being built under contract with the government of the United States in time of war, in any branch of the army or navy of the United States; to provide suitable punishment in such cases.
HB 10 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale of spirituous or vinous liquors, in quantities of one gallon or less, by anyone except a licensed retail liquor dealer; prescribing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
HB 11 Caption: Relating to prohibiting the sale of malt liquors, capable of producing intoxication, in quantities of one gallon or less, by any person except a licensed retail malt dealer; prescribing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
