SB 104 Caption: Relating to authorizing the appointment by the District Attorney or Criminal District Attorney of Assistants and a stenographer in certain Judicial Districts composed of and confined to one County only.
SB 116 Caption: Relating to empowering the Courts of the State of Texas having original jurisdiction of Criminal actions to suspend the imposition or execution of sentence and to place defendants on probation under certain conditions.
SB 215 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article of the Penal Code providing that the Nepotism Law shall not apply in cases where the person employed or working has been so engaged and actually serving at least two years immediately prior to the election of any officer related to the person thus affected.

SB 92 Caption: Relating to providing that all bonds for road construction purposes which have been issues and sold in certain counties, where the proceeds of the sale of bonds has been expended in whole or in part upon a highway which has been temporarily or permanently designated as a part of the State Highway System, shall be entitled to participate in the State Highway Fund.
SB 223 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the Penal Code to provide that the nepotism law shall not apply in cases where the person employed or working has been so engaged and actually serving at least two years prior to the election of any officer related to the person thus affected.
SB 366 Caption: Relating to defining "State Designated Highways," providing for the development for oil or gas by the State of State Designated Highways in tracts.
SB 390 Caption: Relating to providing that persons, firms, or corporations, who operate or conduct hotels, cafes, restaurants, dining cars, or other public eating places, bakeries, and meat markets in this State, shall not work, employ or keep in their employ any person who is infected with or affected by any infectious or contagious disease; providing penalties for a violation of the provisions of this Act.
SB 440 Caption: Relating to validating certain outstanding road and bridge time warrants of Rusk County, Texas, heretofore issued to provide funds for the construction of a connection between State Highway No. 26 and State Highway No. 259 in Commissioner's Precinct No. 1 of said County, said time warrants being in the amount of Thirty-five Thousand One Hundred Eighty-two and 15/100 ($35,182.15) Dollars.
SB 443 Caption: Relating to creating county-wide equalization school districts in counties containing a certain population and containing a valuation of Seventy-five Million ($75,000,000.00) Dollars; creating Rusk County School Equalization District.
SB 446 Caption: Relating to repealing House Bill No. 558 passed by the Forty-sixth Legislature of the State of Texas and making an emergency appropriation out of the General Revenue of the State of Texas for the Secretary of State, for the purpose of compiling, editing, indexing, binding and distributing the current laws.
SB 467 Caption: Relating to making it a felony punishable by confinement in the penitentiary for any person to charge interest in excess of ten percent per annum.

SB 81 Caption: Relating to declaring all fraternal benefit societies to be charitable or benevolent institutions and exempting the funds of all such fraternal benefit societies from all and every state, county, district, municipal and school tax, including occupation taxes, other than taxes on real estate and office equipment when same is used for other than lodge purposes.
SB 162 Caption: Relating to providing for the inspection of steam boilers; providing for penalties for failure to comply with the provisions of this Act and rules enacted pursuant thereto.
SB 173 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful to operate a freight train consisting of more than seventy (70) cars, exclusive of the caboose, over any railroad line or portion thereof in this State and making it unlawful to operate a passenger train consisting of more than fourteen 914) cars over any railroad line or portion thereof in this State; providing a penalty for a violation of this Act and providing however that this Act shall not apply in case of engine failures between terminals.
SB 188 Caption: Relating to validating and legalizing bonds issued by counties for the construction of roads within such counties and the levy of taxes for payment of such county bonds.
SB 200 Caption: Relating to providing for the installation of signal units on State Highways outside of incorporated cities and towns, regulating the crossing of such highways at places where such units are installed by vehicles and pedestrians; fixing a penalty.
SB 201 Caption: Relating to specifying delinquency date of taxes, penalties and interest, on lands omitted from rolls and subsequently assessed, and/or erroneously or invalidly assessed and subsequently reassessed by the Commissioners' Court.
SB 250 Caption: Relating to providing for the regulation of aeronautics within this State; creating a State Aeronautics Board.
SB 262 Caption: Relating to providing that the Statutes of Limitations of Texas shall apply to mineral estates in land; and that adverse possession of the surface shall constitute adverse possession of the minerals, except where the owner of the minerals has exercised, or attempted to exercise, some act of actual possession of same, or has rendered same for taxation.
SB 267 Caption: Relating to granting to the Sabine-Neches Conservation District, power and Authority to carry on Soil Conservation work within the boundaries of said District.
SB 273 Caption: Relating to safeguarding life and property from electrical hazards and the promotion of the welfare of the public; providing a penalty.
SB 274 Caption: Relating to granting permission to the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and to the State Board of Education to use a sum not to exceed One Hundred and Fifty Thousand ($150,000.00) Dollars of the amount appropriated in the Equalization Bill, the same being H. B. No. 327, Regular Session, Forty-fourth Legislature for the year 1936 and 1937, in the payment of approved claims for high school tuition of certain school districts in order to bring all payments to eighty-seven (87%) percent for the year 1936 and 1936.
SB 329 Caption: Relating to empowering the Railroad Commission of Texas to make rules for the conservation oil and gas in the production thereof, and limiting its powers with reference thereto.
SB 331 Caption: Relating to amending oil proration laws.
SB 359 Caption: Relating to providing for the administration of oaths to witnesses by the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chairman of a Committee of the Whole or of any Committee of either or both Houses of the Legislature, or any member thereof, by any member of either House in a matter pending before either House of which he is a member, or any Committee thereof; refusal of any witness to testify to constitute a misdemeanor, and providing a penalty.
SB 360 Caption: Relating to providing that no Mutual Aid Association use or adopt in the name of the company the words "Insurance," "Old Line," or "Legal Reserve," or the name of any person living or dead.
SB 361 Caption: Relating to prohibiting Assistant Attorneys General from accepting employment in civil suits to which the State of TExas is a party for a period of two years after discontinuing their service with the State.
SB 437 Caption: Relating to making it unlawful for butane, or liquified petroleum gas, or artificial or natural gas to be handles, stored, sold or distributed in this State by any person, firm, corporation, or other concern, without first being malodorized or odorized, so that it will be perceptible and recognizable by the sense of smell; providing penalties for failure of any person, firm, corporation, or association and their officers to comply herewith.
SB 446 Caption: Relating to providing relief for the Timpson Independent School District, Shelby County, Texas, in order to aid said school to rebuild school building destroyed by fire.
SB 485 Caption: Relating to extending the time of existence of the Special District Court of Rusk County, Texas.
SB 516 Caption: Relating to providing relief for the Tenaha Independent School District, Shelby County, Texas, in order to aid said school to rebuild school building destroyed by fire.

SB 18 Caption: Relating to authorizing the governing body of the incorporated City of Gladewater, Gregg County, Texas to close that portion of Quitman Avenue lying between Block 4 and Block 20, and between Block 3 and Block 21 of the original townsite of said City in order that said street may be transferred to and used by the Gladewater County Line Independent School District for school purposes.

SB 9 Caption: Relating to authorizing County Commissioners' Courts and the City Commission of any incorporated town within said County to lease or rent office space for the purpose of aiding and cooperating with the agencies of the State and Federal governments engaged in the administration of relief of the unemployed and needy people in the State of Texas, and to pay the regular monthly utility bills for such offices, such as lights, gas and water.
SB 10 Caption: Relating to providing that in counties having a population of not less than forty-eight thousand nine hundred (48,900) and not more than forty-nine thousand (49,000) inhabitants, according to the preceding Federal Census, the County Judge may employ one person as office assistant, bookkeeper and stenographer at a salary to be fixed by the County Judge, not to exceed Eighteen Hundred ($1,800.00) Dollars per annum.
SB 21 Caption: Relating to appropriating out of the General Revenue Fund of the State of Texas the sum of Two Million ($2,000,000.00) Dollars to the Texas Old Age Assistance Commission for the purpose of paying old age assistance.

SB 398 Caption: Relating to the exceptions to the hours of work of female employees in certain establishments.
SB 418 Caption: Relating to allowing the annulment of marriages under certain conditions and upon proper showing of insanity which may have had its incipiency or beginning prior to the tnry of the parties into the marriage contract and giving the trial court discretion in certain of such cases.
SB 419 Caption: Relating to the transfers of children from an independent school district or other school districts in any county, to some other independent district or other district in the same county, and providing that the per capita apportionment shall be paid by the State Treasurer to the independent school district to which the child is transferred, or to the county superintendent in all other districts, to be distributed by said county superintendent.
SB 420 Caption: Relating to providing compensation for County Attorneys, Criminal District Attorneys, or District Attorneys, County Clerks, District Clerks and Sheriffs.
SB 442 Caption: Relating to providing for the inspection and fixing a standard for the construction of boilers; providing for the appointment of a boiler inspector; providing rules for the enforcement of this Act; providing penalties for failure to comply with the provisions; providing for the exemption of boilers form the provisions of this Act.
SB 443 Caption: Relating to providing the salaries of county commissioners in certain counties.
SB 444 Caption: Relating to creating a more efficient road system for Rusk County, Texas, making county commissioners of said county ex-officio road commissioners and prescribing their duties as such; fixing penalties for the violation of this Act.
SB 449 Caption: Relating to prescribing certain rules, regulations, requirements and specifications pertaining to the use of equipment, tools, machinery, apparatus and all appurtenances thereto in the petroleum industry while engaged in the drilling, redrilling production, refining, storing and distributing of petroleum and its products in the State of Texas and fixing certain requirements and rules designed to protect the lives and safety of the workmen employed in such industry; vesting the Bureau of Labor Statistics authority to administer and enforce the Act under direction of the commissioner of such bureau; fixing penalties for violation of the provisions hereof.
